Is this a full size mouse?

I would say it's standard size, maybe a little smaller than the desktop plug-in mouses. But definitely not miniature! It's a good size for throwing in a bag and not needing a ton of extra space.

I would have to say no, but I purchased it for my laptop to take on the go and it works flawlessly for me. It's a cool mouse for the money. I'm not hard to please. I have a laptop with gaming specs, but I don't use it for that. I saw the price and reviews, and I was sold.

Tecknet Pro 2.4G nano receiver optical mouse with 6 buttons do not work out of the box. However, in the Systems Preferences>Accessibility>Switch Control side bar>Switches tab, there are 4 built in system commands: 
Restart from top, Select item, Move to next item, Stop scanning, as well as executing Apple scripts when a side button is pressed. If you want more commands or don't know how to program in Apple script, I recommend downloading BetterTouchTool (Free). 
You can bind the side button to any keyboard shortcut. In my case, I bind them to command- and command-, which is the command for back a page, forward a page respectively for almost all apps (Chrome, Safari, Finder etc.

Perfect for needs Tecknet pro 2.4G nano receiver optical - mouse with 6 buttons

I purchased this for an extra laptop that I use with my food printer. I love the color of it and it is ergonmic to use and very comfortable. I do not do any gaming, so I did not rate it for that. I also turn it off when not in use, so I also did not rate the sleep mode (if it even has one). It is a nice mouse and I highly recommend it.

 Good as a basic use mouse.

BUT for me, the Tecknet pro 2.4G nano receiver optical - mouse with 6 buttons wasn't working upon first plugging in. Turns out, after reading the instructions, the mouse and the receiver can lose connection from high temperature, electromagnetic fields or strong vibrations. Now I'm not sure which caused mine to lose the connection but to fix this just required having the mouse turned on, holding the middle wheel button and the right button down at the same time, plug in the USB receiver to the computer, then release the buttons. Started working perfect after that.

There is sadly one more negative I have to say about this. This mouse will not work with rechargeable batteries. You have to use 1.5V Alkaline batteries. I even got an email response back from the company stating this exact thing. If this does not bother you, by all means, get this mouse. It is a great device. But in a time where so many other devices have or allow for recharging batteries, this is an unfortunate thing. I had to double check the page to see if maybe this was listed on the product information, and I was not able to find it.

One other minor detail is the product information states you can use this on glass and metal surfaces. I have not tried this yet, however, the instructions state to not use the mouse on these surfaces as it can cause the mouse to fail temporarily.

I can't say if the battery life they say is accurate or not as I only just purchased. And I am not sure if I want to keep it. If I don't return, I may end up gifting it out to someone else. Such a shame that I am not able to use rechargeable batteries with this. Would have been perfect for me if it had.

I read review after review looking for a full size mouse and keyboard combo with no luck in finding one that satisfied me so decided to look for 2 seperate pieces that matched but was worth the money. ThisTecknet pro 2.4G nano receiver optical - mouse with 6 buttons is great! Its not very loud, love the auto sleep yo save battery life, I plugged the USB in and was able to start working right away. If your looking for a full size comfortable mouse I recommend this ine and if you want a matching keyboard I suggest the UBOTIE Wireless Green Keyboard.
